City of Cleveland is seeking a Senior Lineman responsible for constructing, maintaining, and repairing overhead distribution and sub-transmission systems up to 15,000 volts. Tasks include switching, transferring loads, and servicing complex transformers in the field.

The role requires two years of lineman experience, completion of an Electrical Lineman program or apprenticeship, and a valid CDL Class A with air brake endorsement. Overtime may be required during emergencies and for outages.

Formación

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Electrical Lineman program or four-year Apprenticeship program required.
• Two years of full-time paid experience as a High Tension Lineman or equivalent required.
• CDL Class A with Air Brake Endorsement required.
• Overtime may be required during emergencies and for emergency call outs.
• Must be able to lift and carry 75 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Builds and maintains overhead and underground transmission and distribution lines up to 15 KV.
• Performs switching and routing tasks on circuits and services.
• Repairs and maintains regulators, fuses, switches, and reclosures in the field.
• Directs and trains employees assigned to him/her.
• Performs duties of a Lineman under supervision.
