Job summary

UNS Energy Kingman Electric Construction seeks a Journeyman Lineman to perform all phases of construction, operation and maintenance of transmission and distribution lines, overhead and underground, in compliance with company standards and regulations.

The role involves guiding apprentices, assembling lines, installing conduits, URD systems, transformers, and performing switching. A CDL and high school diploma are required, and safety is emphasized throughout daily activities.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Lineman/Cable Apprenticeship program or equivalent.
• Must have commercial driver's license (CDL).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Guide Apprentices and Helpers in daily tasks.
• Assemble and install overhead and underground lines and URD systems.
• Drive and operate equipment; perform switching and hold tags as required.
• Perform emergency restoration and follow safety practices.
