Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, construction and repair of distribution and transmission systems overhead and underground.
• Follow safety procedures and use required equipment.
• Perform energized and de-energized line work using ladders, climbing tools and aerial lifts.
• Train apprentice linemen in duties to perform.
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
• Be available for call duty after training; reside within 15 miles of main campus or 30-minute commute.
