Job summary

Trump Hotel Las Vegas is seeking a Cook II to maintain and set up food production, ensuring quality control across all meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, and other menu items.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of cooking experience, with resort/restaurant background preferred. A High School diploma is required; culinary or apprenticeship training is preferred. Health Card must be obtainable; must work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; culinary or apprenticeship program preferred.
• Three or more years cooking experience required; resort/restaurant experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a Health Card from the Southern Nevada Health District.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all food items according to standard recipes and/or guest checks to ensure consistency of product.
• Checks and controls proper storage of product and maintains high quality; keeps refrigeration and work areas clean and compliant with health regulations.
• Prepares daily requisitions for supplies and food items for production.
• Reads and employs math skills to follow recipes.
• Ensure all products are rotated using FIFO and maintain sanitation across stations.
