Job summary

Bluestar Resort & Golf in Northern Virginia is seeking a Cook 3 to join the Food & Beverage Team. You will prepare, cook, and plate meals, mastering all kitchen stations and ensuring high-quality service for guests and staff.

The role requires reading recipes, maintaining cleanliness, working evenings and weekends, and a minimum three years of commercial kitchen experience. A High School diploma and a current Food Handlers card are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years cooking experience in a commercial kitchen.
• High School diploma preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current Food Handlers card is required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Master all kitchen stations and ensure high standards of food quality.
• Prepare, cook, and plate meals according to recipes and menu guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation per schedule and safety rules.
• Respond to guest needs and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Assist with inventory, receiving, and kitchen organization.
