Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf in Peoria, AZ, is seeking a Cook 3 to join our Food & Beverage team. You will prepare, cook, and serve menu items across kitchen stations, reporting to the Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef.

The role requires at least three years of commercial kitchen cooking, a valid Food Handlers card, and the ability to read safety rules and recipes. Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Three years’ cooking experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Current Food Handlers card.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Effective communication with customers and team members.
• Must be a proactive team player with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Master all kitchen stations and ensure high-quality food prep.
• Follow the cleaning schedule to maintain a sanitary kitchen.
• Read recipes and prepare soups, salads, desserts, sauces, and casseroles.
• Carve, portion, and garnish foods to fill orders.
• Support other duties as needed by the Kitchen Manager.
