Job summary

Rising Star Casino is seeking an experienced line cook to work primarily in the All In Venue, with duties including preparing soups, sauces, and high-value items, and ensuring FIFO stock rotation.

The role requires at least three years kitchen experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. You will maintain sanitary stations and collaborate with the Sous Chef to meet high standards of quality and service.

Qualifications

• Three years previous kitchen experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others while under high stress.
• Must view sanitation and food handling video and follow established guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and sanitary work area.
• Prepares daily soups and sauces & major high value food items.
• Utilizes leftover foods and ensures no shortage of prepared food during operation.
• Rotates all food stock using the FIFO method.
• Works closely with Sous Chef and reports any violations related to gaming activity as applicable.
