Job summary

Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is seeking a professional Cook for Campbell's Tavern in Williamsburg, VA. You will begin in a probationary status and work up to 40 hours per week, with the potential to become benefit eligible after successful completion of probation.

Responsibilities include preparing soups, sauces, vegetables, and starches, broiling seafood and meats to established standards, and supporting in restaurant and banquet operations.

Qualifications

• Associate Culinary Degree or Certificate in Culinary Arts from technical school.
• At least 4 years restaurant cooking experience including some broiler work.

Responsibilities

• Prepares soups, sauces, vegetables, and starches.
• Prepares seafood, poultry entrees; cooks meats; broils steaks and seafood to quality standards.
• Works in restaurant and/or banquet operations.
• Assists in outside catering.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
