Job summary

The Summit at Snoqualmie seeks a Lift Operations Supervisor to oversee all lift operations, lead the operations team, and uphold safety and regulatory standards. You will work with mountain leadership to drive performance, manage budgets, and coordinate with maintenance and guest services.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of lift operations, safety systems, and regulatory requirements.
• 3-5 years of management experience in lift operations or related field.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with regulatory compliance, safety protocols, and risk management in lift operations.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders, government agencies, and senior leadership.
• Flexibility to work variable schedules including weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate mountain vehicles and specialized lift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lift operations across chairlifts, gondolas, surface lifts, and facilities.
• Manage lift operations leads, operators, and staff coordination across shifts.
• Assist in department budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation for lift operations.
• Create and implement SOPs, safety protocols, and emergency response plans.
• Conduct performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and recognition programs.
• Ensure safety standards and loading-area procedures are followed.
• Coordinate with Lift Maintenance on schedules, repairs, and upgrades.
• Lead incident investigations with Risk Management, Legal, and regulators.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs and staff certifications.
• Serve as liaison with Mountain Operations, Ski Patrol, and Executive Leadership.
