Job summary

Summit at Snoqualmie is seeking a Lift Operations Supervisor to oversee lift operations across multiple chairlifts, gondolas, and surface lifts. You will lead operators and leads, develop policies, and ensure regulatory compliance while coordinating with senior mountain management.

This role emphasizes safety, guest experience, and budget management, with strong leadership responsibilities and the ability to interface with mountain operations, Ski Patrol, and executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of lift operations, safety systems, and regulatory requirements.
• 3–5 years of management experience in lift operations or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and implement safety programs and initiatives.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate mountain vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lift operations across chairlifts, gondolas, and surface lifts.
• Lead and develop lift operations staff and coordinate staffing across all shifts.
• Develop budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation strategies for lift operations.
• Create and implement SOPs, safety protocols, and emergency response plans for all lift systems.
• Coordinate with Mountain Operations, Ski Patrol, and executive leadership on lift operations.
