The Summit at Snoqualmie, operated by Boyne Resorts, seeks a Snowmaking Supervisor to assist the Snowmaking Manager with daily planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. You will lead safety programs and provide performance input across the department to keep shift crews safe, coordinated, and productive.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of snowmaking experience.
• Proficient in Snowmaking Foreman/Lead skills.
• Proficient with snowmaking software, weather tools, and data reporting.
• Strong strategic thinking and resource allocation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with leadership.
• Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager in daily/weekly snow plans and resource allocation.
• Balance terrain-opening priorities with water, weather windows and labor.
• Monitor forecasts and production systems; adjust operations proactively.
• Use snowmaking software and control systems; report data hours.
• Lead Snowmaker I-III staff decisions and crew management.
• Schedule day and night shifts; manage handoffs and coverage gaps.
• Communicate clearly with department and resort leadership.
• Lead pre-shift safety briefings; document incidents; ensure PPE.
• Provide performance input for Snowmaker I-III to the Manager.
• Support safety programs and incident reporting; ensure compliance.
• Manage equipment hours and maintenance tracking.
