Job summary

Docker is seeking a Senior Lifecycle Marketer to own lifecycle programs across Container and AI Platform products, including Sandboxes and AI Governance. You will craft end-to-end campaigns, validate audiences, and collaborate across marketing, data, and design to drive activation, retention, and renewal.

The role emphasizes a builder mindset, ownership, and hands-on marketing automation experience with Marketo and related tools in a remote-first setting with regional offices.

Qualifications

• Lifecycle marketing experience, ideally inside a PLG or self-serve motion.
• Proven ownership of campaigns end-to-end and delivery of measurable program results.
• Hands-on build experience in Marketo or an equivalent marketing automation platform.

Responsibilities

• Build the Lifecycle Engine: Own and build lifecycle campaigns (email and in-product messaging) across Docker's Container and AI Platform products, including Sandboxes and AI Governance, for both end users and admins.
• Scale Programmatic Sends: Design and run large-scale programmatic sends, such as recurring account health checks, to a base in the tens of millions, using Marketo and Mailgun with a planned platform transition.
• Automate Lead and Renewal Motions: Stand up and run automated first-touch flows for PQLs and inbound leads, in partnership with BDR and renewals stakeholders.
• Validate Audiences & Signals: Collaborate with data and growth engineering to pull usage signals and validate audience signals before sending.
• Manage Suppressions & Contact Governance: Own suppression lists and contact governance rules to stay compliant and avoid over-messaging.
• QA, Launch Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Run pre-send QA and live proofs, monitor launches, and troubleshoot data-sync issues in real time.
• Translate Signals into Messaging: Turn technical product usage signals into messaging credible to developers and admins, not generic marketing copy.
• Shape and Sequence Strategy: Convert a growing priority list into a concrete build queue with clear sequencing and capacity checks.
• Coordinate Design & Agency Partners: Work with design and agency partners to maintain campaign quality and turnaround.
• Operationalize Reporting: Own naming, tracking, and reporting to provide visibility into what's live and what it's driving.
