Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior in Supply Chain Manufacturing who will design, deploy, and validate digital solutions for regulated plant operations in the Life Sciences sector. The role spans from assessments to deployment and stabilization, collaborating with operators, engineers, quality teams, IT, and OT specialists.

You will help deliver MES/MOM, eDHRs, and plant-performance reporting while ensuring data integrity and compliance with GxP. Extensive travel is required across client sites in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, information systems, computer science, supply chain, or related disciple.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in Life Sciences manufacturing, manufacturing systems, automation, industrial data, systems implementation, technology consulting, or related field.
• Experience working with manufacturing or quality processes in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical-device, or comparably regulated environment.
• Experience producing technical or functional delivery artifacts (requirements, process maps, data mappings, interface specifications, configuration documents, test scripts, deployment materials).
• Experience collaborating with operational stakeholders and technical delivery teams to investigate requirements, resolve issues, or implement a solution.
• Ability to travel as needed; travel can range from 80-100%.

Responsibilities

• Assess manufacturing and quality workflows, user needs, system interfaces, equipment data, and pain points through site observations and data review.
• Document process flows, user stories, functional requirements, data mappings, and acceptance criteria for digital manufacturing solutions.
• Support design and implementation of capabilities such as manufacturing execution, electronic batch records, eDHRs, and plant performance reporting.
• Trace information across MES/MOM, ERP, LIMS, QMS, historians, SCADA, DCS/PLC, and asset-management platforms; identify gaps and dependencies.
• Develop and review equipment and batch hierarchies, source-to-target mappings, and data-quality rules.
• Work with solution architects on interface specifications, APIs, and industrial connectivity.
• Prepare and execute functional and integration test scripts, record defects, support resolution and retesting.
• Support deployment readiness, cutover, user training, hyper-care, and handover with clear technical documentation.
