Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join our team in support of large-scale Life Sciences construction projects. The ideal candidate will deliver accurate CM-based at-risk cost estimates and provide strategic cost leadership throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include developing cost plans, presenting updates at milestones, coordinating staff, and evaluating design changes with a data-driven approach to cost control and value engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related construction field.
• Minimum 5 years of estimating experience in CM-based roles.
• Experience delivering at-risk cost estimates for Life Sciences projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop cost plans and estimates from concept through detailed design across regions with internal/external staff.
• Deliver and present updated cost plans at milestones.
• Experience in providing program-level estimates for specific scopes of work.
• Coordinate, manage, and supervise the work of support staff.
• Review design changes/new technologies and prepare estimates within accuracy levels.
• Help drive cost model trends by collecting/analyzing cost information from projects.
• Assess cost effectiveness of alternate products and value engineering ideas at a program level.
• Support training to Development and external Estimating teams on new tools/templates.
• Support leadership presentations for Preconstruction and Estimating teams; SOX control where applicable.
