Norstella seeks a Senior Life Sciences Knowledge Engineer to bridge deep domain science with applied AI. You’ll curate high-quality datasets, define schemas, and work with data scientists and engineers to shape model behavior.

You will lead dataset design, annotation guidelines, and ensure compliance across insights delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic life sciences environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in production-grade life science datasets, including AI-enabled applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience with structured data tools and automation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Translate domain knowledge into model-ready patterns with SME collaboration.
• Develop methods and parameters for model behavior based on requirements.
• Design and refine fine-tuning datasets with input/output pairs covering edge cases.
