Job summary
Einstein’s Office of Biotechnology and Business Development seeks a Senior Licensing Associate to drive licensing and collaborations with industry partners. You will manage a diverse portfolio of life science technologies, draft and negotiate license terms, and advance commercialization strategies, including equity‑bearing arrangements and achievement of ROI goals.
The ideal candidate has strong IP law knowledge, contract negotiation experience, and a track record of successful deal execution in
Qualifications
- Master's degree and 3–5 years in academic and/or commercial biotech/pharma arenas.
- Experience in contract negotiations a must.
- Strong knowledge of intellectual property law and biomedical tech transfer.
- History of successful negotiations and execution of complex IP deals.
- Thorough understanding of corporate & securities agreements preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify and manage a portfolio of life science technologies for licensing.
- Draft, negotiate and finalize license terms and related agreements.
- Develop commercialization strategies and identify potential licensees.
- Coordinate with investigators and external partners through deal lifecycle.
- Provide project management oversight and track licensing ROI.
