Job summary
BCG Attorney Search in Santa Monica seeks a mid-level associate with expertise in life sciences licensing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in IP licensing and technology transactions within the life sciences sector.
You will draft and negotiate licenses, engage in joint development and collaboration agreements, and support transactions across software as a service and related technologies. A JD and bar admission are required.
Qualifications
- 3–4 years of experience in intellectual property licensing and technology transactions within life sciences.
- Strong academic credentials and comparable law firm experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate intellectual property licenses, including patent and trademark licenses.
- Engage in joint development, collaboration, and strategic alliance agreements.
- Handle technology licenses and services agreements, including software as a service agreements.
- Conduct intellectual property and technology transaction due diligence for corporate transactions.
- Participate in technology transfers and distribution agreements.
