Job summary

BCG Attorney Search is seeking a mid-level associate for its Life Sciences group in San Francisco. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in intellectual property licensing, technology transfer, and related transactions within the life sciences sector.

Key duties include drafting and negotiating licenses, joint development and collaboration agreements, SaaS and services agreements, and due diligence for corporate transactions.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in IP licensing and technology transfer.
• Strong academic credentials and comparable law firm experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction or eligibility to obtain promptly.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate intellectual property licenses, including patent and trademark licenses.
• Engage in joint development, collaboration, and strategic alliance agreements.
• Handle technology licenses and services agreements, including software as a service agreements.
• Conduct intellectual property and technology transaction due diligence for corporate transactions.
• Participate in distribution agreements and technology transfers.
