Job summary

BCG Attorney Search invites an experienced Corporate Associate specializing in Licensing to join our San Diego office. The successful candidate will draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements across biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, and software sectors, collaborating with scientists and executives to align legal and business objectives.

You will advise on IP and regulatory considerations, support strategic transactions, and help clients bring innovations to market while navigating

Qualifications

3+ years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts for life sciences and technology clients.
Knowledge of intellectual property law including patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights.
Understanding of software licensing, SaaS, and technology transactions.
Familiarity with data privacy issues in technology agreements and AI applications.
Experience with clients in life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, digital health, and medical device industries.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including R&D, clinical trial, and manufacturing agreements.
Advise on contract interpretation, risk assessment, and compliance issues.
Review IP assets and contractual obligations in transactions.
Collaborate with scientists, executives, and cross-disciplinary teams to align legal and business goals.
Stay informed on regulatory developments impacting life sciences and technology transactions.
