Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering.
• 5+ years of proven experience in open pit mine engineering and planning.
• Expert knowledge of mine planning software and optimization principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Life-of-Mine (LOM) plans for long-term profitability.
• Perform pit/phase optimizations and trade-off studies to guide capital investments.
• Determine cut-off grade strategies to maximize project NPV and ore access.
• Design large-scale pushbacks for continuous ore access while maintaining safe walls.
• Coordinate waste rock facilities and tailings management with environmental teams.
• Forecast CAPEX needs and work with geologists on reserves reporting.
