Swiss Re is seeking a sharp Life & Health underwriter to join our U.S. team. You will apply evidence-based risk selection across medical and non-medical factors, work with clients and cross-functional teams, and contribute to ongoing learning.

The role supports a hybrid work model with three days in the office. Travel up to 10% and no visa sponsorship. Base salary ranges are disclosed for multiple locations, reflecting location and scope.

Competenze

• 5+ years of Life & Health underwriting experience with risk selection and case management
• FLMI and/or FALU designation, or active progress toward earning one
• Strong analytical and critical thinking for assessing medical/financial risk
• Familiarity with AI-enabled underwriting tools and digital resources
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Time management and organizational skills with high-volume workload

• Escalate complex matters and apply guidelines in a commercially sound way.
• Partner with clients and internal teams to provide underwriting expertise via phone and email.
