Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Summerville, SC is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in creating engaging programs for Independent Living and Assisted Living neighborhoods.

You will help plan a monthly activities calendar, recruit volunteers, coordinate transports, and assist residents with a variety of recreational and educational activities while maintaining records and promoting resident and family satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or experience required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexible, imaginative, engaging, and passionate about working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist Life Enrichment Director in designing and implementing recreational and educational programs.
• Develop a monthly activities calendar based on wellness dimensions.
• Coordinate with the program team to organize calendars, events, and outings.
• Recruit, coordinate, and oversee a robust volunteer program.
• Assist with resident transportation for activities and outings.
• Maintain records and assist in resident council meetings.
