Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Herndon, Virginia is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in designing, initiating, and implementing a wide variety of meaningful recreational and educational programs for our IL and AL neighborhoods.

You will lead 6–7 high-quality programs per day, collaborate with the program team to plan calendars and outings, recruit volunteers, and assist with resident transportation as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; 1–3 years experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, initiate, facilitate, and implement a monthly activities program based on wellness dimensions.
• Lead 6-7 high-quality programs per day.
• Coordinate with program team to plan calendars, events, and outings for the upcoming month.
• Transport residents to activities and appointments as needed.
