Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking an Entry-level Activity Coordinator to assist the Life Enrichment Director in creating and delivering engaging programs across Independent Living and Assisted Living areas.

You will help design monthly activity calendars, lead several daily programs, and connect with residents and families to boost participation and satisfaction while supporting transportation and logistics for events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or experience; entry level with 1-3 years experience desirable.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexible, imaginative, engaging and passionate about working with seniors.
• Experience organizing, conducting, and planning programs and activities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be in good physical condition and able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and lift to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support Life Enrichment Director in designing, creating, initiating, facilitating, and implementing a wide variety of recreational and educational programs for IL and AL neighborhoods.
• Assist in developing a monthly program of activities based on Harmony signature programs and resident interests.
• Lead 6-7 high quality programs per day.
• Survey residents to complete profiles and identify interests and satisfaction with programs.
• Coordinate with the program team to plan calendars, events, and outings for the upcoming month.
• Build relationships with residents and families to promote participation and satisfaction.
• Document and maintain all required records and attend resident council meetings.
• Recruit, coordinate, and oversee a volunteer program.
