Job summary

Constellation Insurance seeks an experienced Actuarial Leader to drive life pricing, product development, and in-force management. This hands-on role blends technical actuarial work with strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and team development.

You will lead pricing design, prepare memoranda, and support regulatory filings while evaluating profitability, capital needs, and risk. Mentoring two to three staff and shaping roadmaps across U.S. locations are key parts of this role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years actuarial experience in life insurance
• FSA or ASA holder required
• MAAA member preferred
• Strong pricing, product development, and governance knowledge
• Experience with illustration regulations and tax code sections

Responsibilities

• Lead design, pricing, and development of life insurance products including pricing models and assumptions
• Prepare memoranda, pricing documentation and regulatory filings
• Evaluate profitability, capital requirements, and risk including reinsurance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product development and implementation
• Analyze in-force performance and adjust rates and features
• Conduct experience studies and profitability analyses
• Support illustration testing and product governance
• Contribute to product strategy, roadmaps, and enterprise initiatives
• Present actuarial findings to stakeholders and mentor staff
