Job summary

American Family Insurance Agency Staff in Boston, MA seeks a licensing specialist to ensure renewal and licensing applications are processed in compliance with regulations, corporate policies and ethical standards. The role is hybrid, allowing 10 office days per month with candidates residing within 35–50 miles of Boston.

You will maintain producer licenses, coordinate appointments, monitor renewals, and support the licensing team amidst regulatory changes.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
• Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Access.
• Solid knowledge of legislative and regulatory insurance licensing processes.
• Solid knowledge of querying, analysis and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Process producer new and renewal licensing applications for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain licensing database and communicate status of applications and renewals.
• Manage producer appointments and confirm compliance requirements.
• Review legislation and regulations to determine impact and advise management.
• Ensure timely license renewals and reconcile invoices.
• Monitor regulatory changes and communicate potential licensing impacts.
