Job summary

Mattel in the UCANZ region seeks a Sr Associate, Consumer Products to manage an assigned portfolio of licensees and drive end-to-end licensing plans for licensed apparel products. You will coordinate product development, retail execution and cross-functional alignment to meet brand standards and business goals.

The role focuses on identifying opportunities, onboarding new partners, forecasting, and delivering growth through effective licensee management and market insight.

Qualifications

• Marketing/Business degree or equivalent qualification.
• 3+ years' experience in consumer products, licensing, apparel or retail.
• Experience managing relationships with external partners/licensees.
• Understanding of end-to-end licensing lifecycle.
• Strong commercial acumen to analyze sales and royalties.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal and Product Development.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• UCANZ retail environment knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day licensee partnerships and relationships.
• Coordinate product development and retail execution.
• Support onboarding of new licensing partners.
• Contribute to end-to-end licensing lifecycle from opportunity to launch.
• Monitor performance, forecasts and opportunities; report findings.
• Coordinate samples, trade shows and product displays.
• Develop retail programs with licensees and cross-functional teams.
