Job summary

Mattel is seeking a Sr Associate, Consumer Products to grow UCANZ licensing, managing an assigned portfolio of licensees and guiding the end-to-end licensing lifecycle from opportunity to launch.

The role partners with internal teams and external partners to deliver brand-aligned products, forecasts, and strategic opportunities. We require 3+ years in consumer products/licensing and strong relationship skills. In-office Mon-Thu, with work-from-home Fridays, and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in consumer products, licensing, apparel, retail or another relevant commercial environment.
• Experience managing relationships with external partners, licensees or key commercial customers.
• Understanding of the end-to-end licensing lifecycle, including partner management, product development and commercial execution.

Responsibilities

• Execute licensing plans across an assigned portfolio of licensees within UCANZ.
• Identify opportunities and whitespace, providing recommendations to the Manager.
• Support onboarding and integration of new licensing partners.
• Coordinate end-to-end licensing lifecycle including business case development, negotiations, product development, launch and ongoing partner management.
• Coordinate product development activities to ensure products meet Mattel brand standards and commercial objectives.
• Assist with contract administration and licensing documentation.
• Monitor business performance, royalty forecasts and commercial opportunities; provide regular reporting.
• Prepare brand pitches and marketing presentations for external licensees.
• Manage the day-to-day relationship with assigned licensees; conduct regular business reviews.
• Develop retail programs with licensees and coordinate cross-functional teams for execution.
