HOK is seeking a Licensed Architect in Washington, DC, with hybrid work expectations, to lead design teams, manage budgets, and deliver high-quality drawings and client presentations. The role emphasizes collaboration, sustainable design, and BIM workflow leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience required.
• Licensed Architect with current registration in your region required, if licensure is offered in your region.
• NCARB registration preferred.
• LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.
• 7+ years’ experience required.

Responsibilities

• Leads team in planning work and developing solutions to technical and design detail problems.
• Responsible for establishing, maintaining and adherence to project budget and schedule.
• Supervises preparation of technical drawings by other less senior level architects or professionals.
• Prepares client presentations and presents design concepts and drawings.
• Ensures QA/QC and BIM data organization complies with standards.
• Mentors and directs the work of less experienced staff and supports development.
• Fosters collaborative working relationship with Project Leadership Team and stakeholders.
