Job summary

HOK is seeking an experienced architect to join its design team in a hybrid work environment. You will develop architectural documents, prepare 2D/3D drawings, and present design studies to clients and project teams.

The role requires mentoring junior staff and coordinating with consultants to ensure QA/QC across project phases. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in architecture, 5+ years of experience, and LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture required; 5+ years of experience.
• LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.
• Ability to translate design intent into technical documents and lead a small team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and develop approaches to create/modify architectural documents.
• Develop drawings per established standards and present early design studies.
• Prepare 2D/3D presentation drawings and client reviews.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with clients/consultants.
• Ensure QA/QC and adherence to HOK best practice standards.
• Lead documentation through multiple project phases and manage standards.
