Job summary

HOK Group, Inc. in San Francisco seeks a licensed architect to lead construction phase deliverables, coordinate disciplines, and sign/seal drawings. You will partner with the Sr. Project Manager and Sr.

Project Designer to ensure technical excellence and QA compliance. Responsibilities include design intent preservation, BIM management, client interface, team mentoring, and on-site coordination. The role emphasizes sustainable design, leadership, and collaboration, with a hybrid work environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent in education/experience.
• 10+ years' design experience.
• Licensed Architect with current registration in your region.
• NCARB registration preferred.
• LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure overall design intent is incorporated into detailed documentation.
• Monitor design process from conceptual phase through construction administration.
• Coordinate drawings and specifications with consultants and vendors.
• Lead/coordinate BIM and file organization; set project team standards.
• Mentor and supervise staff; lead project teams on selected projects.
• Communicate with client leadership and manage client expectations.
