Job summary

HOK Group, Inc. seeks an experienced Architect to lead design development, coordinate with project teams and drive design quality across phases. The role involves developing concepts, preparing presentations for clients, and guiding a team to align with budget and schedule.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of design experience, architectural licensure, and NCARB or LEED credentials is a plus. This hybrid position offers opportunities to influence multiple projects and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or equivalent in education or experience required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years design experience preferred.
• Licensed Architect with current registration preferred, if licensure is offered in your region.
• NCARB registration preferred.
• LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design concepts and development during the design development phase.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Project Architect; support design intent and construction documents.
• Mentor staff and ensure design quality and progress on schedule and budget.
• Engage with clients, prepare and present design concepts and drawings.
• Support marketing and business development activities when needed.
