Job summary

Amador County Library is seeking an advanced paraprofessional to support circulation, reference and outreach while ensuring welcoming, organized public spaces. You will develop programs, collaborate with partners, assist patrons with resources and technology, and help maintain safety and order across branches.

Two years of library or customer service experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are required; two years of college coursework in library science or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of college coursework in library science or related field.
• Two years of public library or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized duties in circulation, reference and outreach.
