Job summary

• Associate degree in library technology is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist patrons in locating library materials and explain policies.
• Perform circulation desk duties and process payments for fees and fines.
• Process new books, periodicals and other materials for circulation and reserves.
• Handle interlibrary loan requests and ensure proper procedures are followed.
• Assist librarians and prepare reports and records as needed.
• Maintain organized shelving and inventory of library materials.
