Job summary

Sigma Defense is seeking a Liaison Officer to support the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) at Fort Bragg, NC. The role sits in the Secretariat for Special Operations and reports to the SSO/CD&I team, advising on technology integration for SOF end users and decision-makers in the theater.

The LNO will travel up to 25% to witness demonstrations, embed with units, and evaluate prototypes, with an on-site reporting requirement of 5 days in the office. U.S.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Special Operations (E7+ or O3+ equivalent).
• Experience within MARSOC.
• Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for SCI (not sponsored).
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Political Science, Business Administration, Criminal Justice or International Relations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary local interface to SOF command and liaison with CD&I.
• Support capability development to meet emergent operational needs in the AOR.
• Identify technology requirements and mitigation strategies for SOF missions.
• Demonstrate program management leadership to meet performance requirements.
• Coordinate and execute technology assessments, evaluations, and theater visits.
