Job summary

Universal Dedicated, Inc., based in Lake Orion, Michigan, seeks a detail-oriented Supervisor Liaison to bridge operations leadership, drivers, customers, and support teams for GM-dedicated transportation. You will ensure clear communication, resolve issues, and support workforce engagement to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation, logistics, operations, customer service, HR, recruiting, or supervisory roles preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with staff and leadership.
• Excellent organizational and follow-up abilities; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact between drivers, operations leadership, and customer representatives.
• Support daily communication regarding route changes, requirements, staffing needs, and updates.
• Assist with driver onboarding, training coordination, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Follow up on attendance, scheduling concerns, and workforce-related issues.
• Investigate and help resolve operational, service, and customer-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and operational documentation.
• Support coaching, recognition, and performance discussions as directed by leadership.
• Assist with recruiting efforts, interviews, and onboarding activities when needed.
• Ensure timely communication of policies, safety initiatives, and operational expectations.
