Qualifications

• 7+ years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Proven ability to try cases to a jury and obtain favorable outcomes.
• Strong communication of complex legal matters to diverse audiences.
• Advanced advocacy, including summary judgment and appellate work.
• In-depth knowledge of bench, bar, and local practices.
• Leadership through mentoring and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a caseload of high-exposure cases and complex litigation.
• Use trial experience to try cases to verdict or negotiate resolutions.
• Conduct advanced legal research and write persuasive briefs.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery.
• Attend court events, depositions, and meetings independently.
• Provide case analysis and recommendations to insured clients and partners.
• Collaborate with experts to develop case strategies.
