Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant experience in legal or claims-related fields.
• Bar admission is required.
• Strong understanding of claims litigation processes.
• Experience managing outside counsel.
• Ability to provide legal training and advice to non-legal personnel.

Responsibilities

• Represent the organization in claims-related legal matters.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to claims personnel.
• Maintain control of files and litigation costs.
• Develop and implement claims litigation strategy.
• Respond to subpoenas and court orders.
• Assign cases to outside counsel and evaluate their performance.
• Oversee and supervise outside counsel on claims-related litigation.
