Travelers is seeking an experienced General Liability Claims Professional in California to investigate, evaluate and resolve severe Bodily Injury and Property Damage claims under general supervision. You will manage file quality, conduct timely coverage analysis, and coordinate with policyholders, lawyers and experts to reach fair settlements.

• Two years bodily injury liability claim handling experience or comparable litigation claim experience.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Strong negotiation and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly handles assigned severe claims.
• Provides quality customer service and timely coverage analysis.
• Negotiates disposition of claims with insureds and claimants or their legal representatives.
• Manages litigation plan with counsel to ensure effective resolution.
• Updates stakeholders with new facts and impact on liability analysis.
