Job summary

DMG Corporation (Ambient Company) in Southern California seeks experienced field technicians to commission and service VRF and control systems for commercial buildings. Join a 150+ person team with offices in Orange County and Los Angeles, offering a family-style culture and strong benefits.

You will startup and commission for multiple OEMs, troubleshoot Daikin/AAON/LG systems, read wiring diagrams, and document startup reports for warranty.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or GED; two years HVAC training.
• Active CA Licensure and EPA Universal Technician Certification.
• Experience with commissioning and troubleshooting HVAC control systems.

Responsibilities

• Startup and commissioning for multiple OEMs on commercial projects.
• Troubleshooting control system installations on Daikin, AAON, and LG HVAC equipment.
• Collaborating with installers to resolve punch-list items and close out projects.
• Programming controllers via touchscreens and computers; validating sequences.
• Reading/decoding wiring diagrams and manuals to diagnose quickly.
• Completing service reports and submitting startup documents for warranty registration.
• Performing preventive maintenance, routine service, and repairs.
• Handling additional assignments and maintaining consistent attendance.
