Job summary

BMO U.S. in Chicago seeks a senior professional with deep expertise in commercial lending products, processes, and supporting lending systems, including Standby and Performance Letters of Credit, issuance, documentation review, servicing, amendments, renewals, drawings, and ongoing client support.

You will be the trusted SME and primary liaison between clients and internal Letter of Credit operations teams, providing guidance, resolving client requests promptly, and contributing to strategic

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Client Relationship, Financial Services or Service Excellence in a corporate or banking environment is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Business Administration, Finance or Marketing preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.
• Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures tickets are resolved per client's expectations and supports prompt resolution of client service requests.
• Analyzes client feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence to provide actionable insights for strategic planning.
• Identifies process improvements to meet client needs more efficiently.
• Presents strategic reports to management outlining client trends, opportunities, and risks with recommendations for growth and improvement.
• Engages with clients to diagnose service needs and ensure concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
• Ensures all client interactions and documentation comply with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
