Job summary

Delta Capita is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support the Letters of Credit servicing function for a Tier 1 Investment Bank client. You will manage complex standby LC inquiries, coordinate with internal and external teams, and ensure regulatory compliance across Reg W, Reg O, and OFAC.

The role emphasizes rolling out process improvements, handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and delivering high-quality client service while maintaining accuracy in LC documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in financial services or related field.
• Experience in financial services and analysis of credit agreements is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ISP98 and UCP 600 frameworks is essential.
• Excellent communication and client service orientation are required.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit agreements and transaction documentation to support structuring of the bank’s obligations as issuing institution.
• Review draft Letters of Credit prior to issuance to clients.
• Review counter-standby Letter of Credit drafts before releasing to correspondent banks.
• Assess communications with correspondent banks for accuracy and consistency.
• Coordinate and manage interactions across internal desks throughout the Letter of Credit review process.
• Monitor daily reports and ensure required actions are completed.
• Conduct quality checks on Letters of Credit issued by the team.
• Ensure regulator checks (Reg W, Reg O, OFAC) are completed prior to issuance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
• Act as subject matter expert and provide guidance/training to team members.
