Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York seeks an Execution-driven Letter of Credit Product Advisory Associate within the Commercial Bank to own outcomes and deliver best-in-class client experiences.

You will partner with Commercial bankers and interact directly with clients to drive relationship management and seamless product delivery for our Standby Letter of Credit (SBLC) offering, providing consistent, high-quality service at every step.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Commercial banking, sales, operations with Trade Finance / Letter of Credit experience.
• Proven ability to build and develop relationships; building internal networks is critical to success.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills with the ability to adjust messaging for different audiences including C-suite and operations teams.
• Well-organized and structured with the ability to meet tight timelines on complex deliverables.
• Experience in reviewing, understanding, and/or working with credit partners.
• Knowledge of Foreign Bank Guarantees.
• Experience working in or closely with front office Commercial Banking.

Responsibilities

• Support Vice Presidents in managing a client portfolio while building relationships with customers and internal banking teams.
• Advise Commercial Bank US clients and bankers on LC structuring and setup best practices.
• Set clear expectations on product delivery timelines, requirements, and dependencies.
• Drive end-to-end LC execution by coordinating activities and removing roadblocks.
• Provide clear client guidance, transparency, and timely status updates throughout the LC process.
• Act as a trusted advisor for LC questions, issues, and exceptions across your portfolio.
• Prepare client-facing marketing materials outlining the LC offering.
• Report new opportunities and key deal metrics for data capture.
• Analyze LC portfolio by industry and geography to identify pricing and trends.
• Coordinate cross-regionally with Banking, Trade Finance, Credit, Legal, and other partners.
