You will drive strategic hiring across law students, summers, and lateral associates, building relationships with top law schools and internal stakeholders to ensure a strong candidate experience and robust reporting.

Our client, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Senior Manager of Legal Recruiting to lead attorney recruitment initiatives for its New York office. This is a highly visible role partnering closely with firm leadership, hiring committees, and legal recruiting professionals to drive strategic hiring efforts across multiple talent pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage lateral associate recruiting, judicial clerk hiring, and law student recruitment initiatives
• Lead the planning and execution of the firm's law student recruiting season, including OCI, callback interviews, and offer management
• Develop and maintain relationships with law schools, career services professionals, and student organizations
• Oversee summer associate recruiting, programming, events, and candidate experience initiatives
• Partner with practice group leadership to understand hiring needs and execute lateral recruiting strategies
• Collaborate with hiring committees and key stakeholders throughout the recruitment process
• Analyze recruiting metrics and trends to support strategic decision-making
• Assist with recruiting budgets, reporting, and special projects

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of attorney/legal recruiting experience within a law firm environment
• Experience supporting both law student recruiting and lateral associate hiring preferred
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven project management and organizational abilities
• Experience utilizing recruiting systems and reporting tools
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
