Summary
Prestigious global law firm is seeking a Lateral Legal Recruiting Manager to join the New York office. The Lateral Legal Recruiting Manager will support the full life-cycle of lateral recruitment — with a particular focus on special counsel and all associate-level positions across all practice areas. The Lateral Legal Recruiting Manager will assist the Senior Manager of Legal Recruiting in creating, developing, and implementing effective processes and best practices.
In addition, responsibilities related to maintaining firm and client information are to be adhered to by all employees. This includes complying with the firm’s information security policies, protecting firm assets from unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference, and reporting security events or potential events or other security risks to management.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel, lawyers and staff. Must thrive in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Must possess excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills. Must be highly organized, motivated and energetic. Ability to maintain confidentiality and address sensitive matters with discretion. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high pressure environment.
B.A. required, along with seven or more years of recruiting experience. Recruiting experience at a law firm is strongly preferred but is not a requirement.
The base salary range offered for this role will be between $160,000.00-$180,000.00, plus bonus. When determining a candidate’s compensation offer, elements unique to each person are taken into consideration including but not limited to skill set, experience level, performance, professional certifications, degrees and location, as well as the needs of the Firm. The total compensation package for this position may include overtime pay, discretionary bonuses and other benefits.
