Job summary

Washington County District Attorney’s Office seeks a Senior Legal Specialist for the Records and Analytics Support (RAS) Team in Hillsboro, Oregon. This in-person role supports criminal prosecution through meticulous data entry, ongoing data tracking, and data quality control within the case management system.

Qualifications

• Five years of admin/clerical support experience in a public or private law office or legal environment.
• Three years at the level of Legal Specialist II or equivalent in a prosecutor’s office.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree or paralegal certificate may substitute for two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform meticulous data entry and ongoing data tracking to ensure data quality.
• Process court documents and manage schedules and notices.
• Create and maintain electronic case files for defendants, victims, witnesses, and related parties.
• Review reports from law enforcement and assist attorneys in preparing for charging deadlines.
• Validate entries and resolve data inconsistencies to maintain accurate records.
• Attend court to support attorneys and provide real-time data tracking as needed.
• Coordinate materials from law enforcement and distribute for attorney review.
