Job summary

Carvana seeks a Senior Lease Administrator for its Tempe, AZ HQ to manage commercial lease administration end-to-end. The role requires reviewing leases, coordinating notices, and supporting negotiation efforts in a fast-paced environment.

You will partner with Real Estate, Legal, and Facilities teams, ensuring accurate documents, timely actions, and compliant processes, while enhancing workflows with AI tools and project management platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; combination of experience considered
• 8+ years of direct experience in commercial real estate lease administration or similar
• Ability to review and interpret commercial leases and related contracts with sound judgment
• Comfort coordinating with internal/external teams while maintaining professionalism
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and legal tech tools
• Experience applying AI tools to workflows to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and obtain approval for lease notices and related documents under supervision
• Conduct thorough lease reviews and abstracts on commercial leases and identify key obligations
• Lead or support lease administration workflows (estoppels, SNDAs, access requests)
• Assist with drafting and negotiating commercial leases, renewals, and terminations
• Coordinate lease commencements and site readiness with internal/external partners
• Escalate complex issues to Manager or Real Estate Legal as needed
• Collaborate with Real Estate, Legal Operations, and other teams to improve processes
