Job summary

Selective Insurance Company of America is seeking a Sr. Learning Management Specialist for a hybrid role in Charlotte. You will plan, organize, and develop training curricula, materials, and programs to meet specific training needs, and collaborate with management and SMEs to ensure content stays current and relevant.

You will analyze learning needs, track outcomes, and guide trainers. Travel is approximately 20% of time; design eLearning with Captivate, Lectora, and Presenter; mentor team

Qualifications

• College degree preferred.
• 2+ years Automation experience.
• 3–5 years insurance or financial services industry or 3+ years teaching or training.
• Must travel and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs analysis with clients and SMEs to establish learning objectives and content outline.
• Design and develop training programs and materials using appropriate instructional design methods and eLearning tools.
• Deliver training programs using instructor-led and online formats and manage sessions as qualified.
• Establish meaningful measurement criteria; monitor progress and report outcomes.
• Coordinate project teams, manage time, cost, scope and quality, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to trainers and mentor teammates; support organizational training strategy.
