Job summary

Cengage Group is seeking a Learning Manager within the Higher Ed Editorial and Learning Team to shape content strategy and improve learning experiences for students and instructors. You will work with editorial managers, program teams, researchers, product marketing, and authors to drive innovative, evidence-based course materials.

You will apply learning science, design digital content, and collaborate across disciplines to meet evolving education needs in a remote-work environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-time work experience, preferably with corporate experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and file-sharing tools; experience with applied AI.
• Strong verbal and written communication, audience-centric analysis, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Inform and update author content and pedagogy with learning theory and career readiness.
• Serve as the student journey and discipline-level learning design expert with cross-functional collaboration.
• Review content against editorial strategy and learning standards to ensure alignment and quality.
• Design digital content to improve learning using platform insights and user feedback.
• Advocate for accessibility, equity, and inclusivity in content and authoring.
