Cengage Group is seeking a Learning Manager for the Higher Ed Editorial and Learning Team. You will design and review content, support new authors, and apply learning theory to improve course materials in alignment with customer needs and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-time work experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Educational background in instructional design or learning design.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Share information, assess, plan, design, and review higher education materials.
• Support new authors to ensure content aligns with customer needs and Cengage's vision.
• Update author content and pedagogy based on learning theory, currency, and career readiness.
• Collaborate with editorial, strategy, marketing, authoring and production teams.
• Design digital content to improve learning using platform functionalities and analytics.
• Advocate for accessibility, equity, and inclusivity in all content and authoring.
• Establish and maintain field tools and guidelines for field content creation/creators.
• Support freelance and vendor content creators to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Apply learning trends and research to continuously improve learning designs.
